Start

Catching Pokemon

Pokemon of different types will appear randomly in the world. Finding them shouldn't be too difficult. Before you start catching a Pokemon, make sure you have a Pokeball in your inventory (IDs and recipes are located above).

To catch a Pokemon, use a Pokeball (just click on the Pokemon you want to get).

If pokemon high level, you will need an Ultra Ball or Master Ball, otherwise the Pokemon will run away and you will not be able to catch it.

As you can see, using the master ball, I managed to catch Pikachu (level 54)! In total, you can have six Pokemon.

Pokemon battles

To start a duel, click on one of your Pokémon in the area marked in red in the image below, and then click on the Pokémon you want to duel.

Your custom Pokémon should then appear and at the bottom of the screen you will see a menu with several options.

Attack: Attack the enemy Pokemon
Pokemon: Switch to another Pokemon
Backpack: opens the backpack
Flee: avoid battle

In our case, we selected the “Attack” option, and our Bulbasaur was defeated in a matter of moments. But don't worry, Pokemon can be treated using the Pokemon Center

Pokecenter

A Pokémon Center is a block that can be used to restore the health of Pokémon damaged in battle. Just place this block on the ground and click on it to start healing.

Pokédex

This item can only be used on your own Pokémon. Pick it up, click on the Pokemon, and a window with detailed information about it will appear on the screen.

Use ES File Explorer (or another file manager) to extract the downloaded .zip file.
Copy the Pixelmon PE folder to the /games/com.mojang/ directory
Open and download textures (Texture.zip).
Then use BlockLauncher to install the mod (Pixelmon PE.js).

The beginning of the journey into the world of Pokemon

After you start the game for the first time, with the Pixelmon PE mod you will have to choose your first Pokemon, in our case it will be Bulbasaur.

Pokeballs

To become a real Pokemon trainer, you first need to catch and acquire a certain number of Pokeballs, which you will subsequently use to catch other Pokemon.

Catching Pokemon

Pokemon different types will live throughout the game world, finding any of them will not be difficult. You just need to stock up on a large number of Pokeballs, and of different types. You will meet various Pokemon on your way, but pay attention to their level, if it is high enough, you won’t be able to catch it with a regular pokeball, use an ultraball for this ( crafting recipes above).

Once you have found the Pokemon you want to catch, simply take the Pokeball or Ultra Ball in your hands and tap it on the Pokemon.

Pokemon battles

In the upper right corner of the screen there will be a menu in which Pokeballs with all the Pokemon you have caught will be visible. If you want to fight with any Pokemon, pick up any Pokeball and tap it on the Pokemon you want to fight with. After this, a battle menu will appear at the bottom of the screen, with which you can control your pet.

As soon as you press the "Attack" button, your Pokemon will enter the battle, but keep in mind that if your pet's level is lower than the enemy's level, you will lose and your Pokemon will disappear until you heal it with the Pokedex.

Pokedex and Pokécenter

If you lose battles and you need to heal your Pokemon, then you will definitely need a PokeCenter - this is a block that you can craft and use to heal your Pokemon in the Pixelmon PE mod.

Where to begin?

However, there are still a few restrictive features in this Pokemon mod at the moment. Right now you can only catch and spawn Pokemon in Minecraft PE.

In order to catch one of them, you need to get the pok ball from your inventory in creative mode. Find the Pokemon you want to catch in your game world Minecraft PE, then long press on the screen to launch your poke ball and try to catch it.
The Pokemon catch rate is random and if you are unlucky you will have to try again. This time, I was able to successfully catch my first Pokemon, which was Ivysaur. After catching a Pokemon in Minecraft PE, your ball cannot be taken away.

You can catch up to 6 different Pokemon. The mod uses a slot system that can be accessed via text chat.

Enter any of the following commands into text chat to control your Pokémon:

r = Release/Return Pokemon.
s0-5 (eg s1) = Selects the active slot.
d0-5 (eg d3) = Removes the Pokemon in that slot.

A more pleasant user interface for management is expected in the future.

In any case, to summon a captured Pokemon, enter r in chat.

Pokedex and Pokeshops are structures that are randomly generated in your Minecraft game world. At the moment there is no option to use them, but this option is planned in future updates of this mod.

How to install a mod for Pokemon?

Important! The Pokemon mod only works on Android.

Download the .ZIP archive with all the Pokemon mod files.
Use ES File Explorer to unpack game assets and mod files placed in a .ZIP file.
Copy the folder the PokeCraft-Resource and paste it here: /games/com.mojang/minecraftpe/
Install textures (folder PokeCraft-Textures-Music) using BlockLauncher.

The main task is the same as in the original - the development of the entrusted character from the first level to the highest. Experience points are earned by capturing creatures and fighting with other players. The principle of the game is simple and familiar - turn on the Internet, GPS, camera and walk around the real world, while on the phone display our protagonist moves through the real streets of a real city in order to get closer to the creatures that we must catch.

There are no controls, except for navigation in the internal store, capturing creatures using a trap and elementary combat, based on the “rock-paper-scissors” principle. The phone monitors the player's movement in real world and signals the appearance of pixelmons nearby. Also in the game you can fight with opponents and arrange fights in the arena, for which additional points will be awarded.

In general, the game is not capacious in terms of technical specifications, no lags or bugs are observed. But there are conditions without which it will be impossible to play: internet with good speed and GPS.

The graphics are not so great. The developers tried to make a bias towards the currently fashionable pixel art, but the result was the style of the eighties. It seems that the funds and capabilities of the present time were not enough. Advertising is not an annoying fly, but a kind of assistant, thanks to its viewing you are given a couple of cubes for catching creatures and nothing more. There is musical accompaniment, but nothing memorable.

Pixelmon GO is a game that decided to grab its piece of the pie based on the phenomenal success of Pokemon GO.
