X-Mouse Button Control is a program that allows you to assign mouse keys to almost any action with the system and individual applications. It will be especially useful for owners of mice with many additional keys, which are extremely useful in multiplayer games, but are not used in any way outside of virtual battles.
The range of operations that X-Mouse Button Control allows you to assign to primary and secondary keys is quite extensive. Description:
X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC) allows you to create mouse control profiles for specific applications. For each profile, you can configure up to 5 “layers” of different button configurations, which can be switched using hotkeys or buttons. By default, profiles are automatically activated when you move the mouse cursor over a specific window or application.

Changing the behavior of the mouse over certain windows, for example adjusting the volume when hovering the mouse over the tray or You-tube video.
In games that do not natively support extended 4th and 5th mouse buttons, you can map the action to those buttons.

X-Mouse Button Control currently supports Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2003 R2, Vista, 2008, 2008 R2, 7, 8, 2012, 8.1, 2012 R2 and 10. It was originally designed to work directly on 64-bit editions of Windows, but now fully supports 32-bit editions! The installer determines which version is required (x64 or x86) automatically during installation.
