The tourist boom in Egypt and the growth of tourist cities are associated with a warm climate, clear sea and coral reefs of the Red Sea.

Sharm El Sheikh, translated as Sheikh Bay, is located in the very south of the Sinai Peninsula, where the northern part of the Red Sea is divided into two bays near the island of Tiran.

Hurghada is located on the western coast of the Red Sea.

Between these two cities the distance by sea is about 110 kilometers. And in order to get from one city to another by land, you will have to go around the entire Gulf of Suez and overcome 765 kilometers.

Taba is a small tourist town on the border with Israel, just 11 kilometers from the Israeli city of Eilat.
