Secretly attending church and listening to the word of God, Justina was imbued with the Christian faith. She told her parents about this and together they turned to the deacon and eventually accepted Christianity, undergoing the rite of baptism.

Justina's father died a year and a half later, and she and her mother continued to live according to God's laws. One spoiled young man liked the young, beautiful and modest girl and he decided to achieve her at any cost.

The guy knew all the girl’s routes from home to the temple. Having confessed his love to her, he was refused. The attempt to steal was unsuccessful. Not wanting to endure the shame, the guy went to Cyprian for help.

Cyprian sent demons and their prince to Justina, but her prayer and pectoral cross worked miracles.
